You look GREAT in #3...that looks like a versatile dress, hope you bought it!

I like the concept of the other dress, but it seems to be overpowering your frame a bit to my eye.

Love them all if you need them. If not 1 & 3 and if you only need one then get 1!!!! It is such a new, fresh look and the patter really makes the whole thing!

These are all good choices. I like the versatility of #2 since it's a solid best. And the color really brightens your face.

Oh, yay! #1 is actually my favorite of the bunch, though I seem to be in the minority with that opinion.

I like #3 best, then #1 and then #2. I think I like 1 better than 2 because the butterfly pattern breaks up the long skirt? Have you decided yet? How many did you intend to buy, 1, 2 or 3?

Thank you, everybody! I really appreciate the input. My eye has not totally adapted to the midi length, but I do like this dress since the shape is easy and flowing and it emphasizes my waist.

I went with the BBQ strategy for #1 and #3 because there was only one left in my size in each one. #3 was really a no-brainer. I put it on and it immediately felt like me. I can wear it with at least three different pairs of boots I already own, and at least that many jackets as well.

I took the leap for #1 because it spoke to me more than the solid color one. I figure I can always return it if I decide it doesn't work on me after all, but the feedback here has been encouraging.

I don't know why, but it seems every solid color dress I've owned in the last few years (other than black) is purple. It has not worked out well for me. Both purple dresses I owned before I tired of quickly, and they're both too big for me now anyway. It's funny to me how many people say they tire of prints quickly -- I seem to be just the opposite!

*happy dance*

You are on trend with your patterned choice

Thanks, Angie! I have a soft spot for butterfly motifs anyway, so this appealed to me from the moment i saw it.

You were meant to have that frock, Janet. It's KILLER.

Woohoo! The K-word! Can't wait to try it out with my new boots.

Yep, I think Angie is absolutey right, the butterfly dress is KILLER on you, Janet. Please keep. I also love the purple one, but the butterfly pattern makes it extra special. Also: you were SO made for this midi length, WOW!!!

YAY, you bought the ones I was going to vote for! I think the prints are much more you than one big mass of color - maybe go for tops if you want more solids? But back to the topic at hand, both dresses look amazing on you!

Late to the party, but just had to chime in to say how beautiful you look in all these dresses. Three is my favorite but they are all gorgeous on you. I can see what you mean about tiring easy of purple so that was a good decision to return. I admire your wisdom and willpower!

#3 would end up in my closet, Janet!

Janet, you look AMAZING in dress 3. It totally belongs on you!

Janet, you are rocking the midi look! All three dresses are amazing on you and look so fab with boots that I'm swooning! Way to go, girl!

Love. Esp. # 1 and # 2. It goes so well with you.

This is a bit late, but I wanted to add that I love seeing you post pictures with your glasses on! Can't wait to see more outfits with the dresses you picked

I was going to say to keep 1and 3.
They look gorgeous on you.
