Hiya, thanks to everyone for their input on the BR tanks I was considering; I ordered a few and they arrived the other day and I finally had time for a try-on today. Will be heading to the mall this evening to return one (I think) - lmk if you think my assessment is sensible or needs to be re-thought!
1. WIW today - just for fun since I haven't done one in a while. Excuse the hair in all these photos - I was at the gym before lunch and haven't had time to repair the damage!
2. These shorts - what do we think of the tropical print? Out?
3 - 4. To the tanks - this navy one will be a workhorse for sure; tried it with my two navy-printed shorts, but will be good with white, colored and denim bottoms too. Keeper.
5 - 6. Was going to return this so I'm glad I did the try-on. I really like the lighter blue stripe; something different and it works with the white bottoms, denim (thought this would be too boring but I like it) and will be good with navy shorts too I think.
7 - 8. This one is going back. The white is more cream, which isn't my best, the stripe is muted. It's fine but I don't feel it's adding much to the situation. I do like the fit though.
9. This white one is a keeper. It will work with all my shorts except the white ones, as well as my theoretical printed flowy skirt I'm hoping to stumble upon.
In combination with my t-shirts (navy, hot pink, blush pink, burgundy, navy graphic) and blouses (sleeveless navy print, light blue linen), I think I'm set for summer for clothes (unless I find said skirt). Nude wedges are next on my list and then I'm DONE.
All in all - these are nice tanks! On sale they were $20 - 25 each, except the navy which was full price but I'll get my money out of it I'm sure. The fit is good and the length of the tie ones is reasonably adjustable thanks to the ties. (a few folks had mentioned they are a little long).
How'd I do? Does it seems like I have my bases covered?
