Hi all, the Blondo boots arrived and I'm feeling good about them - but we know how frequently I wear boots, so can't hurt to get some educated feedback in case I'm missing something
They are very comfortable and slightly different to my black ones - they have a slight wedge-ish bit of height which does not make them heels by any stretch, but to my eye make them work a little better with wide pants. They fit perfectly with my other taupe items tone-wise, and although they are not light enough to create a true column with light wash jeans, they certainly soften the contrast and look a lot less heavy than the black. I think they will look better with my navy leggings too. They are dark enough that I won't need to be precious with them in slush (Blondos are teflon in winter weather anyhow).
I am pleasantly surprised too that the toe is a little slimmer than I though, which to my eye looks a little neater. This style also has a lighter sole which I like.
So I am feeling good about these - but open to blind spots being pointed out before the tags come off.
