I wore my white dress for the first time last Saturday. We went to a park, to Chinatown, and out to dinner.
At the park, I sat down in the grass, which turned out to be wet, leaving a dirty smudge on my rear. In Chinatown, I rested a cup of tea on my thigh and ended up with a lovely cup ring where it sat. In a minor miracle, I managed to eat fish tacos for dinner without spilling a thing.
But then! Back at home, I sorted the laundry for the washer and my cat puked on the pile, catching the dress in three different spots.
Keeping white pristine is not my superpower. However, thank you to all who recommended OxyClean. As near as I can tell, it got EVERYTHING out. The dress lives to be stained another day, and now I know I don't have to adjust my life or be precious about it. Win!
