I think it's a fabulous tradition. Why not? I love blue and white in summer and I love stripes in summer, so go for it! I'm enabling you to buy a new blue and white striped dress every summer.

You look so darn cute in everything that it's hard to be critical. I think a cognac belt and wedge sandals might be cute and up the style here. Maybe some "beachy" jewelry. I think the combo of the stripes, color AND the self belt make it read too much "apron" but a different belt, shoes and accessories should change that.

My summer mistakes are often white tees that are too clingy or too thin (or both) and probably just too many tees in general.

I think that dress is really cute and far from frumpy!

My mistake is buying too many plain t-shirts instead of real shirts. I'm slowly breaking the habit, only by going nowhere near the t-shirt displays in stores.

What?!! You look FAB!! You say Target?!! Where was I when this dress was on sale at Target?

I'll tell you one thing I don't need another of when it comes to summer dresses: Gingham.

I should probably add plaid to that, but it's easier to pretend different plaids make things a lot different.

But it's so cute :C You look amazing in it!

I will admit a weakness for striped dresses as well. I keep telling myself I don't need more, but it keeps happening anyway! I think striped dresses make up something like 2/5 of my casual dress collection.

Maybe you should keep this dress. Then when you want to buy one next year you can remind yourself that you already have one.

My annual mistake is cardigans, especially white ones for summer. I think I have 5 and I don't even like to wear cardigans. So far no new white cardigans this year, but I did buy a white open weave pullover to serve the same purpose. Is there a WCA (white cardigans anonymous)?
