In preparation for ladies day and at the request of Angie and other forum members I headed to Dorothy Perkins to pick up the fascinator I linked to in a previous thread but, now at home, the ribbon and feathers resemble the droopy relics of roadkill rather than a playful nod to the riotious hats of Ascot.

So after searching the interweb for inspiration I have formed Plan B, instead of the non fascinating fascinator I will tie my vintage square silk scarf into a wide headband as a nod to my retro and fashion loving sensibilities. I hope you approve? I am happy again.
