Yay! You found a winner. Those remind me of the Mod shoes from the 1980s. Except, I'll have to take your word for it that they're gold -- on my screen, they look dusty beige!
Angie, I decided to keep my Calvin Klein loafers. I wore them to church today along with my denim shirt dress. They turned out to be pretty comfortable after all. I hope they work for you. My are metallic steel, and I love the dark shine.
So happy you found these Angie. Your glasses are really magical as you said.
This whole topic has really helped me understand why I can never find ballet flats that fit well and are comfortable. Even borns don't work. It's because I have low volume feet like you Angie and I can see how the ankle strap will make a huge difference. I'm adding ankle strap flats to my list of new styles to try...or flats with a higher vamp which I think are another option. Will happily not think about ballet flats any more.
Those are great, Borns are so comfortable. I'm glad to hear ballet flats aren't totally out of fashion, they are my go-to shoes for in between seasons when it's warm enough to wear my cropped pants to work but too cold for bare toes.
Angie you and your green specs are definitely magical....
Yesterday I found these ankle strap shoes calling my name. The brand Gaimo is a new one for me. I found a bunch of Spanish brands (for reference) on this site http://www.spanishoponline.com.....xYoSmz5O1M. I believe espadrilles were invented in Spain.
The ones I found are the mid blue in pic #1. I found a darker blue online (pic #2) and they come in other colors too. They were about half price so perfect for trying something new. I absolutely LOVE the color and the fact that they are suede and the rose gold strap/trim. I want to build 10 outfits around these. I hope they pass the wear around the house test today but so far so good!
