Pastrami on rye, as Staysfit mentioned recently, is a classic sandwich. Even a vegetarian like me knows it’s’ delicious reputation. The bread really makes the sandwich. I’m looking for the bottom bun to go with these pants. I’ve posted several times about what to do with them. The forum has always said to wear them, and not cut them off to be shorts. I still haven’t figured out how to do that. Recent conversation on the forum about Amy’s skin sandwiches has made a light go on in my head—that’s the problem!

I finally resolved to make myself wear them. Got up today and tried them with several pairs of shoes: navy oxfords with heels, navy loafers, and red suede ankle boots. What do you think? Do any of these looks have potential? The red boots come closest, but there is still that sliver. I’m also not sure I’m into the red with the pants; it is such a predictable pop of color that it doesn’t feel very fun. I didn’t try my white boots, because they are very white & have black details; the pants are yellowish cream with navy.

I gave up & pulled on a skirt, think I’m going to get the pants chopped today, unless someone stages an emergency intervention here.

This guy gets the roles that the bread & filling play in making a sandwich. It made me laugh.
