Here I am, back once again! I last wrote about sorting through my wardrobe, and I did that as time allowed. But I haven't been very succesful so far shopping for replacements. Either it doesn't fit or I don't like it. Or what's almost worse, I just feel meh about it.

After all the frust I had lately with clothes, I almost didn't expect these shoes to work out when I ordered them, but at the price I had to try - there were marked down from 160€ to 40€! And they fit and I think they look awesome...

They're the perfect replacement for my old ones which I wore to the ground for years (they were resoled once already). I'm so happy I just had to share with someone and I know you here on YLF will understand.

Rachylou, I think so too. They're more interesting. Classic enough to work with everything like my old ones did, but still something special.

It's great when that happens isn't it? They're perfect for you! I've often admired this brand, although they don't quite suit my style they do make beautiful shoes. Well done! Hope all is well with you.

Thanks everyone! I'm well, just always tired during the work week when I'm back home. I'm usually leaving for work at 6.20 am and coming back home between 6 and 8 pm, so I haven't had the energy to take outfit pictures. And I normally spend the weekend either in sweats, riding clothes or jeans and sneakers, so there's nothing interesting to post then... I haven't had much time for shopping either, the few times I went to actual stores were a bit of a dissapointment, but I had a bit of success with online shopping. But I still have to do way too much laundry to make sure I'm decently dressed at work.

"Think" is the brand. Very well made shoes. And really comfortable. Plus they're lined with leather, which I prefer, especially when I wear just hose in shoes.

I've had a pair of THINK! boots, and vouch for their craftsmanship. What a great outcome---the new shoes look very similar to your previous pair, yet are suitably updated to be a brand new style. Love it when a replacement can merge so seamlessly into the wardrobe. Thanks for sharing.

Lyn, I went and had another look and found a slipper version in a taupe color for 45€... And ordered them. Crossing my fingers that they also fit and look good IRL (I'm a bit unsure about the two tone look, I think it could go either way).

Such a good find, your wait was rewarded! I have such good luck with Paul Green on shoes, and now your luck with Pink, I think the Germans must be very good shoe makers.

Great find! Love the mixed texture. The taupe pair look like they'd work really well for you, too. The two-tone looks pretty subdued. More crossed fingers here ^^

Thanks Jane - Paul Green shoes are also great, unfortunately they're all too narrow for me. But I have a friend who has a lot of Paul Green.

Got the other shoes today and they are just as comfortable. I've decided to keep them. I was a bit sceptical about the two tone look, but I think it looks nice IRL (and better when they're on my feet).
