Just wanted to thank you all for being the greatest forum ever. <3 The support, kindness and wisdom from every one of you and the YLF-team is amazing and have given me so much strength and happiness in 2016. Just to see your wonderful outfits, read insightful posts, beautiful items, 'hang out together' when shopping or to read the joys and challengers in life is truely unique.

A very silly side note: when times get tough I try to focus on deep breathing and mental training. One trick is to visualize that I'm surrounded by a magical rainbow that both keeps me safe and spark off positive energy to my surroundings. I hope you all have some good tools to keep you moving when bumps cross your path. And I love this quote by Leonard Cohen: There is a crack in everything. That's how the light gets in.

I'm eager to get on with 2017 and wish you and your beloved ones health and happiness for the coming year. <3

What a great post! YLF is a great forum. I have enjoyed the community and the words of wisdom that I found here so much. All the best to you in 2017.

I am a big fan of Leonard Cohen. We stayed near his house in Montreal just after he died.

YLF is a GREAT forum. I have found no other forum that offers the same benefits. I credit Angie and Greg for that sense of safety and community. I also credit the individuals that make up the forum. They themselves are pretty damn amazing. The kindness and willingly to help constantly astounds me in what has become a gritty world.

Happy New Year to you, and what a lovely post. I love the image of the rainbow. We could even imagine that rainbow as colourful fabber's outfits! It really is a great place to come for insight, fun, community, and pretty visuals. I learn so much here and not just about fashion.

How lovely. I try to live a very positive life. Virtually at work and at home. Pretty much everywhere. It makes life much more easy to live and celebrate my truth. A big part of that is YLF. I work alone most of the time and I can pop on here day or night. I truly love us.
When my day gets hetic or people get negative and start to effect me. I can just go to ylf.

Yes, I love the Cohen quote -- and a similar Bible metaphor about cracked pots (which always encourages me and gives me a chuckle at the same time).
