As I close this annus horribilis, I do have space to reflect on the goodness of the year. And there was plenty. Special gratitude to the YLF forum and family for your non-fashion related support, empathy, sympathy, and kindness this year as I moved through frustration, anxiety, and grief related to my parents.
Fashion-related, it was a gift to have an appropriate wardrobe, and my YLF knowledge so that getting dressed for long days and weeks at hospitals and hospice, funerals, celebrations of life, Christmas parties at senior living communities, and other first-time or once-in-a-lifetime occasions was not an additional emotional burden.
Also fashion-related, thank you for your inspiration (boots! sandals!), and kind comments on my WIW posts. They were always a boost.
I wish everyone a peaceful exit to 2023, and great hope for better days ahead in the new year.
