Hi there everyone, Long time avid reader here, but I haven't posted in literally years.
I just wanted to say thank you to Angie and everyone here. I have learned so so very much from this site and these forums. In fact, this morning I overheard two women on the playground at my son's school talking....about me! One commented to the other that I always looked great and the other woman responded that I had that kind of "effortless style" everyone always talks about.
I looked at them and smiled but my ears were burning and I felt kind of guilty. Little did they know that in order to build the outfit I am wearing today - a pair of jeans, boots, a tank top under a sweater, earrings and a scarf - I spent over an hour trying on:
This sweater
2 pairs of pants
4 pairs of boots
6 pairs of earrings
3 scarves
3 necklaces
2 vests
and at least 15 shirts to go underneath it!
Not to mention the endless adjustments, tucks, ties, zipping and buttoning schemes that go with all of those things!
You are all wonderful, fabulous women and a tremendous inspiration to me. Thanks!!
