Hi Lovely Fabbers,

Just a note of thanks to you all for being so kind and supportive over the past days. We are home from my SIL's funeral and the day has gone very well.

DH did a amazing job delivering the eulogy and found it much harder and more emotionally wrenching than he expected. I am so proud of him. He sent his sister off well. It was a sad day but the families gathered together and when we parted, felt we had given Janine the best farewell possible.

Thanks for your advice too re what to wear. So insignificant in the scheme of things, but I woke to a 'fat' day and did end up with a pile of tops on my bed. I ended up wearing my new tailored slim leg pants, oversized square sweater and black and grey animal print wedge heels. Added the silver bib style necklace and a cuff. Popped my mod style jacket over it and I felt well dressed. Unstructured structure I believe:)

We are home now and DH is relaxing and restringing his guitar and of course I wanted to drop by and catch up with my (fab) girlfiends. Unfortunately my house really needs some cleaning so I am going to have to drag myself away from the lap top and do some housework...soon.
