Be honest with me here folks.

These jeans were thrifted and inexpensive, and I mainly bought them because they fit well above the knees and I figured I could make them into cut-off bermuda shorts if the cropping experiment failed. (They were too short to wear as regular flares).

I cut off one inch at at time, checking at each point with my footwear, but it always seemed too flared (note to self, it doesn't get less flared as you go up the leg, even if it seems like it should). I maybe should have stopped a half-inch sooner or so...

Anyways, I was mainly thinking column of blue, primarily to wear with these ankle strap flats, although possibly with ghillie flats and gladiators too if my eye adjusts. Here are some test outfits.

1 - with lambswool/angora sweater

2 - trying out an off the shoulder blouse from Forever21 (is this blouse a keep or return? It can be paired with other pale jeans if not these)

3 - with white linen blazer and pleated sleeveless under-layer

Do any of these work? Should I turn them into shorts instead? See about the cost of getting the unpicked cuff of the jeans sewn back on? Any other suggested outfits?
