For those of you following my health issues as of late, I got back my biopsy test results about an hour ago and NO CANCER!!!

Apparently it is not uncommon for women with PCOS to have a much more difficult time with menopause because of the underlying hormonal and endocrine imbalance. My gyne believes that this is what is causing my difficulties.

We are going to see how my next two menstrual periods are with respect to the pain and the heavy bleeding. If that continues, we're going to remove the uterus since I'm almost 51 and clearly don't need it any more.

By gyne did indicate he removed a large polyp when he did the endometrial biopsy (no wonder it hurt like crazy!) and that we'll want to keep an eye on that to see if they continue to grow and multiply.

I'm over the moon with relief and can't thank you all enough for your love and support. It means the world to me.

Love you all,

Shannon
