Thea, I machine-wash (front loading, cold) and hang- or flat-dry all my EF pieces. None have suffered. YMMV.

Same here. All my EF gets laundered on cold and hung to dry. Dress, tunics, etc. only exception is one silk blouse that is dry clean only.
