It figures, I can't find a single faux fur vest that I like on me, but I found this jacket.

Seriously, should I?

You seem to be smiling! I think it's flattering. Big trend in sleeves made out of contrasting texture fabric, so since you have half the sleeve contrasting, you must be even more
fashion forward. Seems clever, too, not likely to get all rubbed together there.

Ack, I'd say go for it if it was something other than knit. I'm afraid the knit will pill up and ruin the look of the jacket before its time. Cost probably comes into play on this one.

Correction, it's actually knit on the underside of the sleeve, but leather on the side of the body, actually faux leather. Should be real for the small amount of it and the price, but it's decent quality.

In all honesty, i would probably get way more wear from the jacket than a faux fur vest. Hmmm.

I could see this with a midi length pencil skirt, it would look great. Or colored jeans. Would you wear it inside as a sort of sweater layer? If so, you might get a lot of use out of it. Or would it get packed away when the weather gets too cold?

Denise, it's actually quite warm -- I could see wearing it through winter. It's the kind of thing that can work as either outerwear or as more of an outfit piece.

Jackets are one thing I actually have in pretty good quantity. If I get this, I may have to give away an old, not-as-loved outerwear jacket.

If you are going to one in one out for this jacket then I vote keep. Where you live, it gets cold and stays that way for a while, so a jacket collection is not a bad thing. I do wonder though, is this jacket on the shorter side? Do you always wear your tops tucked in or short? Otherwise they might peek out. I find for myself, my outerwear jackets have to be longer since I prefer to leave my tops untucked often. If the length will work for you then keep!

PS I also found a great faux fur vest I actually liked on me, in Macys! I need a small though, so we ordered one. Maybe I'll have a FFV after all!

OK - I agree that you don't *need* it, but it looks lovely on you. Do you think that you would get some use out if ? And could you *use* another jacket ? Then yay.
