These are hard to resist http://www.amazon.com/Volatile.....8;sr=1-20- but I have bought all the following in the last year (pic 2-5) and they've barely gotten the tread to the pavement. Tell me I need to wear what I've got before I get more!! Must resist.

I wish I could be helpful, but I think that they go with the rest of your boots and your other boots may need another friend!! I do think that you need to wear the other ones because they are so great! I really like #3 and 5
At least they're not too expensive ....

Technically #3 is a shoe not a boot and #2 is a hybrid. What can I say? I love boots and have way too many pairs too.

Those are cute. I was at the mall on the weekend and saw a great mannequin outfit. It was booties with fur trim, soft brown textured tights and a grey/brown dress. It was very sharp and made me think of my brown booties with the fur trim. I think it would help you if I could post a pic but I didn't think to take one.

I have more boots than you so there's no way I can tell you that you have too many. And I agree with dianthus #2 and #3 are not boots! We're such enablers, but I really think they are a nice addition that does not replicate something you already have. I love the rich wine color. #3 has a similar color on the sides, but it is not as warm as a boot would be.

It's a cross between #2 and #4. I don't they're special or different enough to justify them.

I think the fact that they are only $28 has me not thinking straight. Darn that bargain hunting gene! I'm backing away . . . whew, close call.
repeat: must not buy more boots until new pairs in closet get worn first.

What Anna said. If you didn't already have those, I'd be enabling you all the way. Save some room in your boot menagerie for the awesome styles that are bound to come out next year.

ETA: this is coming from the girl who's reselling two duplicate boots to make room for... you guessed it... more boots.

I'm with Anna - if you're going to add something, you should wait and add something a little different to the mix. Just sayin' - there's no such thing as too many boots in my mind, but you do need to be wearing them!

Is this the time for a reminder about how you said you don't need as many new clothing items as you are getting, and also about buying clothes for your fantasy life instead of you real one? If you aren't wearing the others - why not?

I think these thoughts should push you in the direction of not buying them!

Oh, Isis, I AM looking for a leather jacket - great memory!! That is part of what made me chill out on the boot bargain.
Anne, the reasons I'm not wearing the ones I have are 1) ankle sprain still healing and 2) FL summer that never ended until last week! But there's movement on both those fronts! You are absolutely right that I am trying to change my purchasing ways. Doing well for the most part, and then a great bargain on a cute bootie comes along to try and test me.
Shannon, the last boots are Miz Mooz Gayle and for only $100 or so right now at Amazon.
Claudia, would you like to add these to your collection so I don't have to?

I agree with standing strong! You already have other boots that are similar, and you have plenty of variety for when you can start wearing them in cooler temps!

No more boots! I have to detour with eyes closed everytime I go shopping for household items at the shopping centre so I don't see the selection at The Bay (dept. store) with their myriad of fab boots right in front of the door! Argh!!!
