Tell me about the JCrew linen pants...

You guys have been tempting me with all of your JC purchases. I'm curious about the drapey linen pants. Does sizing run like the Gap? Is regular long enough or too long for petites. TIA!

@Adi: Is that "c" as in "si" as in "yes?" Sizing similar to gap and that regular is long enough for petites? Lol!

Normally I buy a regular length in JC pants--and I sometimes even need to shorten a dress pant length. By mistake I ended up buying a tall in the drapey linen pants but didn't bother canceling the order because I figured I could easily shorten them. Much to my surprise, the tall worked out just fine. I washed the pant a couple of times and the length now hits me nicely at the ankle. If I want to wear them shorter, the fabric is light enough to roll easily. So my advice would be to order the regulars.

Oh, and I'd buy your regular size-- in my case, I ordered the same size I'd used for my Gap slouchy khakis.

I got regulars. They are not quite long enough to pass as full length on me. Maybe with flat sandals they would. I just roll them to be ankle length like a boyfriend. I got my typical Gap size, like Gaylene.

Might JUST be okay with flats, but too short (I think) with low heels. But rolled they are fine, and I'm glad I have the extra fabric to roll, as it gives them some weight. Oh, and I do not have long legs, so probably regular would be the way to go.

I also got the same size as I do in Gap and BR.
