Good quality for $ or overpriced? Fit like Dansko or are they narrower? Comfortable?

I have a pair of boots and two pair of sandals. I know nothing about Dansko fit, sorry but I have narrow feet and they work for me. Flys seem to be market-priced and good value. Nothing outrageous price-wise.

Friends who wear them love them.

Unfortunately they don't fit me well -- this often happens with me and British shoes; I'm between sizes in their sizing. Though Topshop miraculously fit me great (at least the 2 styles I own).

Anyway -- the people I know who wear Flys SWEAR by them. They're comfy because of the rubbery sole. The leather is soft but sturdy. The styles are funky-urban as a rule.

They are comfy and fit me well - IAs the Mary Jane version of Shedev's boots but they were too neither here nor there for my style. The boots would have been better.

Thanks. I have a wide foot but can still wear Dansko. If the shoes aren't as wide as Dansko, then they probably won't fit. I want to try them, though.

I have an average width foot (but narrow heel) and one pair of Fly sandals that have been a runaway success. They are very comfy and get a lot of compliments. They were what I consider a reasonable price for a nice pair of sandals -- not bargain-basement cheap, but as LisaP says, not outrageous. I'd go for it again, if I saw another pair that I filled a wardrobe hole.

I have a bunions and a wide-ish forefoot but a very narrow heel on a low volume foot that is 6.5/7. This means that a Euro 37 tends to fit me fairly well notwithstanding the size that Fly London says I should buy. I am a 37 in Danskos, and most Pros work for me but many Danskos do not. Topshop 37s work for me, but I think I am between sizes in ECCO.

I have the FL Ylva in gunmetal from a few years back. Very supportive and comfy, probably because of the laces. I bought the Yala a couple of years ago but ended up giving them to DD because they never stretched enough around my bunion.

The FLs are the most I have paid for footwear, and my sad experience with the Yalas make me a bit gun shy. I have my eye on the Yopps and the wedge sandals since they look a bit warmer than most sandals but I would only consider them if the price were right.

I wouldn't necessarily say that FL is overpriced. Maybe with Brexit the price will go down?

Not to derail your thread, BC, but DonnaF, it sounds like we are foot cousins (narrow heel, regular to wider forefoot, 6.5-7 in North American sizes) -- but here is what is odd -- I fit most Ecco 37s perfectly! As well as Topshop. But not the Flys. Mind you, the only one I tried that I really, really wanted was the mustard one you show here. It just would not work for me. I think it was too long/ wide, the peep toe cut, and the arch was not in quite the right place.

Ah the mysteries of footwear!!

I guess all I can do is try and hope for the best, as I do with all brands I'm unfamiliar with. I really like the style of European shoes, but don't know how the sizes run.

I can't wear Flys because I am between sizes. I wish I could. I like the style of them. Some of my friends wear them and love them. They say they are very comfy.

I have a narrow heel, high arches, regular width, and some of the Fly Londons work for me some don't. I tried Dansk but they were very uncomfortable. Maybe it was just the pair or two I had the opportunity to try? In any case, I purchased Fly Yesk's last year. They look new still, but I like them so much I went back and purchased them in multiple colors which I have been using this year. (I added off white and red too.). My friends with wide feet wear different styles than I do. If you have a good shoe store they should be able to help you find a style to fit your foot.

I need to clarify that I absolutely can't wear the Dansko clogs; just the sandals.

I ordered a pair of Fly London Yair sandals in my usual Dansko size 38 (I usually wear size 7.5W, D width).

I have three pairs of Flys. Purchased on deep discount on Amazon. I really like them but after a long wear the squishy sole can cause some issues with my back. I have sacroiliac joint issues/ instability.
But for the most part I like them very much.

Oh no! They might not be good for my back, then. I'm going to cancel my order and stick with the Danskos, which are too stiff for some but that I can wear comfortably all day with absolutely no problem. Thanks!

I've been following your thread because I recently purchased a pair of Fly London sandals. I've had them for about a month but haven't worn them yet because I've been on a trip with a lot of walking and don't want to deal with new shoes. I have wider feet and a narrow heel and wear size 8 1/2, so I bought the size 9. They seem a bit long for my foot but I'm thinking size 8 will be too short, so I'm keeping them. My plan is to wear these when I don't have to walk a lot. The larger size seemed to fit my wider feet with a bit of room at the toe. I got them at Amazon which has easy returns, so why not give Fly London a try. They are good looking and look well made.
