Tech question about editing a photo

If I upload some photos, but then edit* them because they are out of order, do folks see ‘only’ the photos I want them to see, or do they see the message displayed in the pic below?

*when I mean edit, I mean that I have ‘deleted’ the photos that are out of order, and then re-posted them vs using ‘hide’.

The reason I ask is that I’ve edited/deleted photos, and I see a nice line of just the ones I want to show. But, sometimes I look at other folks posts, and see photos as well as the message that the photo is no longer available.

I'm not sure, Carla, I think we get to see all your edited photos, and that the message as displayed above only appears when someone actually hides one or more in a series of previously posted photos.

Doing a test below. I added two photos of Felix, then hid it. Do you see one image with the "this photo is no longer available" message and one actual picture?

Thanks for your response Inge. The last photo (see below) is what I see from your post.

I did a test as well. I posted 2 photos, a rose and a peach, and then I ‘deleted’ the rose by ticking the ‘remove photo’ option. Do you see just the peach, or do you get the ‘no longer available’ message?

Alright! Thanks for testing this with me Carla.

I only see your peach photo, so we can conclude that:

- When you "hide" a previously posted photo, other people will see the "this photo is no longer available" message.

- When you "remove" the photo, then only the still remaining photos are visible.
