As a redhead, all the advice from sales people and the media over the decades suggests/insists that I should wear ivory. Finally I realized that despite the lore, not all redheads are autumns. My skin is actually has quite a lot of pink undertones, even when I am tan in the summer (another myth, or my ancestry is really mixed up). Duh. I hate how I look in ivory. I either look ill or I just disappear in it. A couple years ago, I finally said no more purchases of ivory items because they are guaranteed orphans. I'm team white, team contrarian. You?
