On Mo's post about not buying anything in June, she said she didn't include me in the count as "in" since I was waiting on some things I had already bought. So I took that as permission to keep shopping

Actually, 2 of the items arrived yesterday. I think I am keeping the pastel galaxy print boots. But the navy sandals have to go back because they didn't fit right. So navy shoes remains my HEWI.

Anyway, I haven't been into wearing any of my toppers recently and Angie's posts on vests made me decide to try one. I had black or white in mind and found this white one:

I think I will continue looking to see if I can find a black one in a more flowy style.

Bummer those navy sandals/shoes did not fit, Susie. I love them! I just sent back some JCrew navy sandals and some Timberland Navy ones. Count me in as a navy seeker right now. (And guess I am not on Mo's list either.)

I like that vest a lot and can see you in a more flowy one. I don't see myself in that style but I have been wrong before. (I should never say never on YLF).

Thanks, viva. With all of the navy clothing we are seeing, why don't we see more good choices in navy shoes?

Was it a style or a fit issue with the ones you tried?

I'm going to try the vest this weekend to see if I can make 'me' outfits with it.

Oh, I meant those got a pass since they'd already been purchased last month!! But if you want to shop, shop. By all means! And if it just means very limited specific to one item, that's cool, too. It's all good.

Caro, I got navy boots last fall (the same Zara ones that Angie and others got too) and wore them often. It's the summer version that has remained elusive. And I'm glad you found yours!
