So I went to JC Penney because I was acting out after finishing my taxes. They've been on my mind because they've been in the news lately. Financial troubles and the introduction of the Joe Fresh boutiques inside the stores.

I bought some shooties and am sorry I put back a silky sweatshirt. It was navy and white, and I felt iffy about the conservative colours. Such is life.

In any case, the whole store was on discount and the Joe Fresh boutique had been trampled by voracious elephants... that is to say, some surprisingly good finds at nice prices.

I saw in particular a pair of lined trousers. I was definitely all *OMG.* That is a rare luxury, or so it feels like to me. Unfortunately, again, there was just the slightest hint of "empty saddlebag syndrome" going on for me. Not as much as with Express trousers, but still a no go. *Sigh*.

Anyways, it was worth checking out.
