love it with the pants.
I'm noticing lately that I'm having a harder time wearing jackets with a skirt or dress, and I loved the look last year. What changed?

Angie's recent blog post shed a lot of light on the subject for me. I think different shaped dresses look better with different length jackets. This leather jacket doesn't go with my defined-waist dresses to my eye. It falls below the smallest part of my waist.

ah.... that must be it. Our eyes are becoming more discerning.
I've also noticed it seems that jacket lengths are getting a little longer... have you noticed that? I tried on a few really cute jackets the other day but they all hit me below my hip bone.

Those shoes are gorgeous! Okay, focus on the jacket...I think the shape is really great on you, and I love how you're wearing it with the jeans. It looks really chic and sophisticated. But...I was one of those party poopers re. the color on the first thread you posted about it. Here are my rather complicated thoughts: If I just saw you walking around in this, without ever seeing you in anything else, I would think you look fab. But after seeing you in other colors, to my eyes this color is just not as fab as some other colors would be (e.g., a warm camel or a light caramel, or a chestnut, which would all work with your olive skirt). And I'm usually not someone to get all worked up about colors :). But, of course, if you love it and feel fab in it, and it fills a wardrobe hole, then you should keep it!

I've said it before, but you are enticing me to enter the world of crime. I am seriously contemplating robbing you of all your footwear. What size are you again? Maybe that can dissuade me. Those MK shoes are gorgeous.

Still love the cut, still unsure on the color. I'm with those who think warmer colors would suit you more. This round of pics shows more brown than gray, so that's an improvement in perception

I liked it in the first post and I like it here too. Do you own a lot of bright tops? The jacket seems a tad dark and will compliment light tops nicely. If most of your tops are darker, it may make your looks too dark though.
