Tattoos are great, and have become quite mainstream. They are absolutely fashionable! The ones you posted are pretty -- especially the flower one. I admire anything from tiny, subtle tattoos to those that cover entire body parts. Having an isolated tattoo versus having a whole "sleeve" or more gives a very different look, though. (While both can be beautiful, there is definitely a difference between being a woman who has tattoos to being a "tattooed lady").
I have only one myself (the result of a drunken night in my early 20s), but I don't regret it. (It's Hobbes, from Calvin and Hobbes). It's on my back and I usually forget I have it, to be honest. I would get another if it wasn't for the fact that I'm too lazy, because they can look fabulous. Maybe I will get around to it one day. If so, I'll make sure to get a good artist. Do a google search for bad tattoos and you'll see what I mean. That's the best advice I can give you: if you decide you want a tattoo, your first step is to do your research.
Some people feel like they need to get a tattoo that is personally meaningful in some way, and others just want a tattoo that is visually appealing. Either approach is great. Proceed with caution if getting word tattoos -- particularly inspirational messages, and extra-particularly if they are written in a language you don't speak. (Cultural appropriation = not cool). Same goes for art styles belonging to a living culture. The number of white British Columbians sporting a Haida tattoo is embarrassing.
One more thing: if there's a chance you might ever want a career where it's not OK to sport a visible tattoo, you might consider the placement of your tattoo more carefully.
I seem to have a lot of opinions about this! I think it's because so many people have tattoos now and I have seen such a range, from the gorgeous to the ridiculous. I'm sure you will choose something lovely. Have fun deciding!
