Target: Reissuing 34 Prior Designer Collaboration Dresses MARCH 13

The Go International Designer Collective will arrive Target stores nationwide (and Target.com) on March 13th. The pieces will be available through April 10th (or until they sell out) and every dress in the collection will be priced at under $50.

The 17 designers included in this revival are: Luella Bartley, Tara Jarmon, Paul & Joe, Behnaz Sarafpour, Proenza Schouler, Libertine, Alice Temperley, Erin Fetherston, Jovovich-Hawk, Rogan, Richard Chai, Jonathan Saunders, Thakoon, Tracy Feith, Rodarte, Zac Posen, and Tucker.

Wow, lots of really cute dresses. Love the Libertine dress with the black oxfords.

I hope some of them won't be polyester, but I'm not holding my breath...

You can call me a curmudgeon, and I probably am, but I've been disappointed in the quality of the designer-for-Target pieces that I have seen.

This is funny because I think Target's non-designer brands (like Merona) sometimes offer decent pieces at good prices (I have lived in two pair of Merona skinnies this winter that I preferred over other skinnies at two to three times the price point).

Uh-- my problem is that unless these models are 6'2" almost all of these would be "tunics" on me. Most of the longer ones have spaghetti staps.

The one dress I regret missing out on the first time is Thakoon dress. Jovovich-Hawk was an awesome collection, but I don't remember the polka dot dress. Perhaps I'll check it out this time. Rodarte lace dress will probably sell out in record time but I'd really like to try it on if I can find it in my store. Behnaz Sarafpour dress is simply gorgeous!

I was super excited when i first heard about this because there are some Erin Fetherston pieces i missed out on and was hoping to have a chance to grab. But those dresses aren't it. In fact i don't think they brought ANY of my favorites back.

Maya - your best bet would be any Rogan dresses they bring back. I have like 4 pieces from that line and they are all either 100% cotton or linen.

And for fun, here's some of the pieces i do have
Left to right: Jovovich-Hawk, Richard Chai, Rogan

The Richard Chai dress is my fav. It's has an exposed zipper in the back which i love. I've worn it a lot of different ways and it's held up really way through many a washings.

That Richard Chai dress is gorgeous. Another very memorable print, like Thakoon.

Yeah i thought for sure they would bring back that Richard Chai dress but instead they're doing the plain black one?? Same shape just no print... :/

The Thakoon one is a great print! I wonder how fast some of these will sell out. I think Thakoon will be a big one for sure. I remember it selling out pretty fast the first time.

I tried on the lace/tull Rodarte dress when it came out but I just couldn't do it. I felt like i was auditioning for the Tooth Fairy

I have the Thakoon dress which is lovely. I don't know why I don't wear it.

Amy, I have the Tracy Feith white dress and love it! Maya, it's all cotton if you can get past the ruffles lol. I found it in too small a size in the store and almost bought it anyway, but instead stalked it on ebay for several months until it came around in my size. I'd be interested in some of the black dresses shown.

I agree with Stephanie - I have NOT been impressed with the designer offerings at Target so far. There is a LOT of polyester involved. I don't do synthetics; I don't care WHO designed it!

Clothing from the Merona line, however, has given my wardrobe a serious boost: perfect pencil skirts in black, zebra & ocelot and several lovely print and solid cardigans. All in cotton with a touch of spandex.
