As Theresa posted earlier today, Target launched their fall collab this morning. I’ve been watching and waiting for this one, because it had one designer I’ve wore and really love, Nili Lotan, and one I have been very interested in, Sandy Laing, but had never tried. The collab also featured Rachel Comey and Victor Glemaud. Since I wasn’t sure what the demand would be for this drop, i ordered the 4 things that really caught my eye this morning as the coffee was brewing. 3/4 items were available for local pickup. And i got to see (WIS) a lot of other things when i went for pick up today.

#1-5…the Nili Lotan jeans…LOVE these, but I’m concerned that shorting will change the flow/drape. Thoughts?

#6-9 Nili Lotan trench…on the bubble with this one. It’s incredibly well made, as I’ve tried to show with the picture of the back and of the inside (forgive the wrinkles, after i placed the order, the store just shoved it into a too small shopping bag, so it needs a good steam). I think why i’m unsure, but after the last 18 months, this is a little more tailored and finished vs what I’ve been wearing.

#10-14 Sandy Liang pants…if this were white, navy or denim it would be 100% keep. I love love love the fit, FYI the cuff is fully sewn. This color is a stretch for me, and would be a wild card…but I’m leaning towards keep.

WIS (What I Saw)….
the Sandy Liang pant in khaki, which looked ok, a little underwhelming
A Sandy Liang fleece jacket, which i came close to bringIng home..super fun, but not sure that i need/want fashion fleece right now
Nili Lotan striped sweater, has a really nice hand, and drape, but I didn’t love the crew neck on me.

On its way to me is the Sandy Liang Smocked Tee…i wanted to try the smocked trend this summer, but never saw anything that really spoke to me, this one did

Thanks for looking. All thoughts, comments, suggestion welcome and appreciated
