So, Sally seems much better. She also now has a companion, Sylvester. It seems if girl tarantulas can't get a little spider lovin' they get peaky. It also seems that they often eat their beaus afterwards.
Can you feel my joy at now having TWO pink-toed tarantulas in my house? It's only slightly tempered by the fact that one of them may end up as hors d'ouvres. That's because if Sally does get busy, my daughter is intent on "keeping ALL the babies!"
