The heat was fixed late that evening, and I ended up sleeping over at that friend's place. I did not feel like going out again late at night in the freezing temps.

In general I am doing better, though I am struggling with some insomnia. If it is not one thing than it is the other...

This upcoming Monday I have the biopsy for the thyroid nodule scheduled. I am trying really hard not to freak out completely about it. I am not scared of the biopsy itself, just the results. I really do not want another surgery.

Thanks everyone! I am a bit annoyed at the doctor's office. They never called me yesterday. I have called them towards the end of the work hours, only to be informed that my doctor has left for the day, and that they do have the results, but I will have to wait till Monday to hear them. Not fun

Oh, Tanya. I know how this is. I once sat with DD after hours in a closed office on a Friday waiting for biopsy results while a kind admin tried to find someone, anyone who could give us the answer. We too, waited until Monday.

It's not deliberate, but sometimes the process is not humane.
