Thank you, Angie!

Tanya, I'm thinking of you often. It's so cold here today! I hope you are staying warm and cozy. Big hugs and warm thoughts are coming your way.

Thank you for this update, Angie.

Tanya - I'm sending healing thoughts and hugs your way right now...

I would like to thank you all so much for your kind posts and support. It means a world to me.

I am doing better, significantly better, eating more, sleeping more etc. Things are slowly getting back to well, not normal, but wherever they were before this recent setback.

It is very cold here, and would you believe it, for the first time in almost 4 years of living here, we have no heat! The transformer in front of the building broke, so no heat, no hot water, elevators are not working, etc. Luckily, I have a good friend who lives in a building across the street from mine, so I am right now parked on his couch while writing this. PEPCO is onsite, so hopefully they will fix that transformer soon.

Hope everyone is staying warm!

Tanya: thank you for the update! Cannot believe the heat is out in this arctic wave but glad your friend lives so close. Stay warm and warmest of wishes coming your way as well...from all of YLF.

Sending supportive thoughts to Tanya and her care team. Penny

Thank you for the update, Angie. We are all keeping Tanya in our hearts.

So pleased things are looking a little more positive xoxoxo

Oh I just saw this. Tanya, I'm glad things are looking up a little: remember with long term health problems it's one step forward, two steps back, and not to beat yourself up over the backwards steps. Treat yourself the way you would a loved one who was ill. And of course I hope those forward steps get bigger and bigger soon. *hugs*

So glad to hear you were rescued from your cold building. It sounds kind of cozy over at your friend's.

It's a very good sign that you chimed in, Tanya. *happy dance*. Of all the times for your heat to pack in - heavens - not during the arctic freeze on the East coast. Thank goodness you could hang out a friends house. xo

What an awful time for the heat to go out -- ugh! Glad things are looking a little better, and hope it only goes upwards from here.

Tanya, stay strong in your healing and recovery; you will get through this and be stronger because of it. You have many here holding good thoughts for you and wishing you better days ahead. Thinking of you.

Oh no about the heat ! I am so glad to read that you have a place to stay and that people have been around. I hope that brings you some solace.

You will get better, little by little. Please really focus on that. I am so happy that you have a good doctor and that things are being sorted out.

XXXXXX

Thanks for the update, Angie.

Tanya, you are in my thoughts and prayers. I wish you healing, wellness and wholeness. Like Isabel posted, you will get better. Focus on what's important and let the rest go. A lot of YLFers are here to support you, so hold on to that as well. Take care, and God bless!

Ruth

So wonderful to see you post, Tanya! I'm glad you're feeling a little better. Hope the transformer is fixed. George sends warm purrs.

Tanya, sending good thoughts your way.

Good to hear from you Tanya! I hope things continue to move in a good direction for you. I'm so glad to hear you have some support now.

Oh, no, Tanya! I am so glad there is someone you can stay with while your heat gets fixed. I hope your sense of taste continues to improve. I remember your writing awhile ago that you could sense the salt a bit.

So glad to hear the update. I have been scarce on the board and more scarce on OT, but often think of Tanya. Hugs to you and I'm sure you're as excited as I am that we'll get up to 30 today here! (never thought that would feel warm, but it's been 9 every morning this week going to work). When you are up for it we are all long overdue for a DC get together - even if for a quick cup o'. If you need a respite in the burbs' I can come get you anytime!

Thank you for the update Angie. Tanya - thinking of you and sending you my love!

Glad things are getting better, and that you have a convenient friend!

Tanya, if only our thoughts and wishes could heel you faster...! You are on my mind all the time and I am so sorry to read about the rough patch you've been through, but also very, very happy to read about the progress. One day at a time, dear friend. Some day this will all be behind you - please bear that in mind.
