I used to do the drawer trick, too, but here in FL I find if I don't see them I don't wear them. So came the idea to hang them.
This rack is working pretty well. I will say the camis and other spaghetti straps are the easiest, and the woven ones because the material slides better and doesn't want to grab the tank above or below it.
The stickiest ones are the knit, and then the ribbed knit, and lastly, the full straps, and the racerback are hardest to get off and on.
In the future, say back in Tahoe, I imagine I will put my ribbed layer tanks back in the drawer and use this for my wovens and spaghetti strap tanks. I will probably hang about 8 or 10, not the fully racked 12. A little 'wriggle room'.
