Talk me out of these shoes...

I have been searching for the perfect perforated peep toe booties/shooties/boots/sandals.

#1 Dream shoe. LD Tuttle The Bow sandal. Sold out in my size and just wacky expensive with duties etc.

#2 Bought this one. Earth shoes brand. Was $150 CAD and I got a free rayon scarf with it. From a local shop.

#3 Le Chateau perforated boot. Did not fit. Can't size up. Also available in white. It's the brown boot in this montage.

#4 - Inspired by cciele! Love these adorable booties, although not peep toe. Snagged them at revolve.com. They are on their way to me.

#5 - Finally, I see these on eluxe today. Last pair. Close to perfect! Should I buy? Or will #2 and #4 stisfy my perforated shootie/bootie jones. Can't return the ones I already bought, but eluxe has free shipping and returns.

I guess this proves I shoulda been more patient (mais je ne regrette rien!).

#4 is my fave so glad it is yours!

i like the tuttles the best of the rest. Are you the kind of person to e satisfied with secod best, or will you keep looking trying to replace the one that got away?

if the latter, just get the tuttles. It will be cheaper in the end.

#4 is my fav. #2 is a nice change from the rest, you'll probably like those the best when the weather gets hot. I would just stick with those two, but the summer season here is short.

I like the ones you bought! (Although #1 is my favourite too). #5 looks awfully high. Pretty to look at though.

Your dream shoe is gorgeous, no doubt about that. I think with 2 and 4, you have your bases covered (one airy and sandal-like and one perforated but closed toe). The last ones have a very different vibe. Hold firm! (That's me talking you out of buying them as requested.)

I like #4 the best far and away. Fab shoe! #5 looks really high to me. Pretty to look at but miserable to walk in. I love the look of high heels, I hate them on my feet. #1 would be my next favorite.

Angie, Thistle: now that you mention it, the heel is a bit high, listed as 3.5".

bj1111: I admire your reasoning, but unfortunately, they are sold out of my size!

Karie, pil and bj: I love the Jeffrey Campbell boot too, can't wait til they arrive!

And pil, the Earth sandals have a very comfy footbed and a manageable but still somewhat dramatic wedge. Another reason to not buy another similar shoe - I would probably always pick the more comfortable pair and end up with an orphan.

I really do like #5, they are quite unique. But my only hesitation is that you said they are "almost perfect". So I would wait until you've worn the two new pairs a bit and reassess. That first pair is now tempting me, I have nothing like them and they are stunning!

I too love the LD Tuttles but they were sold out in my size a while ago. So, saved! And with free shipping and no duties in the US, I might have talked myself into them. I also love #4 which you ordered. #5 are cute too!
