i was on a college campus for my cousin's graduation this past weekend. i thought you all might appreciate my fashion observations.

1. my cousin (not the graduate, her sister) wore a romper to dinner and out after. it was in a ditzy floral pattern. and it doesn't work. no way no how.
2. my sister wore a maxi dress to the commencement. this actually wasn't too bad. it was black and a very casual fabrication. she wore gold thong sandals with it. the commencement was in 90 degree weather in a football stadium. considering it all, this may be one of the rare occasions where a maxi dress is an option and it didn't look so bad. But not killer either.
3. Lots of ditsy florals and lots of drop waisted dresses. I swear college girls all dress exactly alike. I'm okay with the ditsy florals if they are in the right color and i think my eye is adjusting to the drop waist look.
