What fun, Claudia! I love the bright colors. I received a catalog in the mail yesterday, and the thing that impressed me most were all of the models with closer-to-average bodies - a little bit of bulge and bust here and there. It was quite refreshing! I did enjoy the stripes, as well.

Gah! There's a striped coat in there I reallly like! Too bad their BM stores aren't close to me... fit was weird enough the last time I ordered that I don't want to get anything else online. :T

It's funny b/c I find things with Talbot's online that I don't find in the BM stores at least locally.
I just ordered a dark green military jacket and a brown pea-sweater from them after Chirstmas and they fit a little tight right now, but I'll keep them b/c I plan to be losing weight.

Hmm, it was instructive to flip through the plus-size section. To my eye, the larger of the two blonde models looked better in the shorter-sleeved tops, rather than the elbow length ones, which seems a bit counter-intuitive to me. Perhaps because on her the sleeve ended at the same level as her bust, making the whole area seem wider? Something I'll watch out for on myself, anyway!

I always love the looks they put together in their catalogs, sadly their clothes don't fit me, and when I browse their store it never really resembles what I have see in the catalog!

Ooh I really love the pink and orange dress (talk about buying for an imaginary lifestyle-I guess if I were invited to a few tea parties or sipped mint juleps more...) Some cute things, but like Taylor said I don't often find what I like most in the catalogs in store (or even on line in my size and price)

I am so glad Taylor said that, because I thought I was crazy: I often like Talbot's lookbook looks, but when I am in Talbot's, I feel like I'm in a store meant to dress Cheever characters.
