Talbots Shoes: Yay or Nay?

Though there is still snow on the ground and it is looking like a cold week ahead, I am dreaming of spring. (The real thing with the warm weather, not "it's technically spring as of yesterday" spring) Also sandals. Maybe these:

Have any of you lovely folks tried Talbots shoes before? Any thoughts on sizing/quality?

I've ordered clothing from them but never shoes. The clothing has always been great quality and construction and the times I've had to return for wrong fit has always been easy. Sorry I can't speak of the shoes.

I shave no experience with their shoes, but these do look very nice! And perfect for S/S!

These look very cute! I have had one pair of Talbots shoes (ballet flats) and they were well made but ultimately given away b/c there were too narrow for my widish foot. If you have a normal width foot or narrowish I would think you would be in good shape.

I own a couple pairs of their shoes. Probably not surprised given how many of their clothes I own

Their shoes are good quality, but I have super fussy feet and tend toward comfort brands (Ecco, Munro, Pikiolinos etc,) I do like their shoes, and those sandals are amazing. If you buy "normal" shoes and have no issues, I would try them. If they don't work, Talbots has always been great with returns. If you tend to buy almost all comfort brands, than they may not work as well for you, but I would still give them a try. You just never know, and I think Talbots is currently running a 25% off sale.

As a follow-up, for me they have always run true to size. I am a size 9.

I think the sandals are cute and the color looks versatile. I've never ordered from them so don't have any info on comfort.

I have several pair of Talbots shoes and am very impressed with their quality and comfort. True to size and all of mine have leather soles and uppers. Highly recommend.
