very very pleasantly surprised after i ducked into talbots to try the revamped fits.

the jackie fit in jackets is slim in the shoulder and a bit boxy, but still has a bit of shape esp at the waist. the kate fit is slimmer in the waist than the jackie fit.

signature fit in bottoms is slim bordering on, but is not, skinny.

overall, i took a 2p on top--normally a 2reg / 4p. 2reg on the bottom--pretty true to size.

i have the jacket and the signature cropped pant in red and white coming later this week.
