The jacket arrived today and I'm so keeping it. I and a few other fabbers had been concerned that the ornate crochet pattern might look too busy with my dress, but I don't think that's the case at all. I think it works really well. It was not an inexpensive piece, but as we've touched on in other discussions, time is another value: this was perfect for me, I tried finding other things and kept coming back to this.
I see myself getting a lot of use out of it. I'll be able to dress it down too. It's perfect for the flamenco-tango-romantic aspect of my style.
