This coat that Angie posted recently really caught my eye. What I really liked was the color and flattering-looking cut. I am awaiting my first New York winter, but I already have a black down coat, and I am on a tight budget so I really only want to keep this one if it is outstanding. I don't think that black suits me very well. The color on this coat is a little darker than I expected, but my main concern is whether the hood is too sloppy. I am leaning toward keeping because I don't think the price, color, and quality is easy to come by, but I am open to all feedback. Also I did not order the petite even though I am very short. The sleeve length seems okay. Does the length seem okay? I know it is much longer on me than on the model.

Thanks so much for your help. I will try to get on the forum more in the next couple weeks to help other posts. I used to be around here a lot, but two small children have brought the all-powerful Scarlet to her knees, LOL.

ETA: I just tried it on again and I think my real concern is, is this just too much coat for me? Maybe I need to try the petite to be sure.
