Getting married in one week! Eek!

Most of the big things are done. Have just paid balance of enormous catering bill (seriously enormous, probably more than everything else put together) and less enormous but still daunting venue fee so no backing out now.

Today's project is putting together pictures (baby and grown-up) of us for the slideshow. I already used many of these for our custom photo guestbook so it shouldn't be too hard a task.

We fly out on Tuesday. Once we get out there there are a bunch of small but important things to get done. Like the hair/makeup trial, getting marriage license, wedding rehearsal, pick up booze, manicure/pedicure, final meetings with some vendors, etc.

The weather forecast looks fantastic. high of 80, low of 55, no rain in sight (which is a huge relief as the venue is almost 100% outdoors). Hopefully the big SoCal brush fire (which is about 20-30 miles away from the venue) will have cleared up by next week.

Anyway, wish me luck! I am excited about getting married but I want the planning/doing stuff part to be over now.

My friend told me that there are only 5 things you need for a successful wedding; here it is - I think we're all set according to her metrics!

bride: check
groom: check
officiant: check
fabulous dress: check
