I tried on two of Angie's picks in store when I went to do some returns.

Olivia Moon blazer:
1) Size M, red striped
2&3) Size S, grey striped

It's a really nice blazer but not for me. I was in between sizes and a Medium Petite (if such a thing existed) would have been perfect. Also, I didn't really love any of the colors - I already have grey and black blazers in the wardrobe.

4) Pleione red striped top in S. This was too tight in the arms. I could try ordering either the larger size in the white/black or the red/black. Do you think it has potential?

5) I'm considering ordering this top I posted earlier (same photo) and rejected now that it's an Angie pick. It's definitely one of the more unique tops I've seen out there and different from anything else in the wardrobe.

Good call on the blazer, Sylvie. I agree with your assessment. It looks like a great piece, but not the right fit for you.

I think the crossover blouse has potential, yes!

And I like the top in #5 on you a lot for casual wear! (Nice to see your pretty face, too!)

Too bad the OM jacket does not fit properly. I really like the red one on you though.
The blouse looks great, definitely try to size up and see it it fits better. Now you got me concerned that the sleeves are too tight and it will not fit me!
The last top looks interesting.

I like the striped crossover top very much! The last tee is fun and unusual. It looks like it fits you well.

Thanks ladies! Crossover top is on order. It's so different from what I normally buy/wear but I'm remembering that it's important to push myself on these things.

The last top is a sweater and the front panel is silk so I'll be wearing it for work as well as at home. I work in tech (coworker wears flannel shirts + 3/4 length athletic pants) so I hope that's ok.

Suz: Oops, showing my face was an accident, but thanks for the compliment. I don't know if the blazer was on your shopping list or not but it was really nice. I like the shape/construction/fabric a lot.

Sveta: I've been having an issue with sleeves being tight on a lot of things I've tried on recently. I don't think this top has particularly narrow sleeves, so I think you should be fine.

Joy: Thanks for vouching for the striped top. I agree - I think the mixed media nature of the last top is really fun.

Did you try the last top in a size up? I think it would be fun to wear as an oversized piece.

I really like #5 and, like Marley, thought of sizing up too for an oversized piece.

I looked at the Pleione several times. Angie looks so fabulous in her crossover top, I kept going back to the rack. I saw many people wearing the Pleione... and I have to say unfortunately I haven't liked it on anyone yet - although the colour here is fantastic. There's something about the poufing at the bottom that bothers me. It makes me feel the shirt itself has muffin top... Eh, how did Angie style hers?

Nice to see some of Angie's picks in action. I did not order OM blazer as I did not like any of the colours. Crossover blouse and the last top look really good on you. I hope the size up fits you.

I love the red striped blouse on you, Sylvie, so yes definitely give the larger size a go.
Like Marley, I was going to suggest trying a larger size in the Joie sweater as well (I have that one on the the way too, so it's extra fun to see you model it here!-), I think a more drapey fit will be fab.

I like the last sweater a lot! Try it one size up, I think it would look good!

What is worrying you about the fit of #2? Is it the pulling on the shoulder line?

Another vote for sizing up in the striped blouse and Joie sweater. They both look like they have great potential, Sylvie!

(I wore my black and white striped blouse yesterday with black cropped pants and cow ankle strap pumps :))

I really like that fifth top, too! But I just saw your other post, and the reason you rejected it was because it wasn't a '10' for you. I would try it on again, with that in mind, and see if you feel differently

Love #5 the best! I say go for that one, too. IMO it's better than the stripe.

I'd try the Pleione a size up --- it would still drape, so the extra volume in the midsection shouldn't be a problem.

I tried the blazer, too. I found the fit generous everywhere EXCEPT the upper arm. This put me between sized too!

I love the last top on you! I see why the others didn't make the cut.

That red stripe top is a super piece on you, I also vote try one size up to get more drape on it. The top in #5 is also quite lovely in a size up, again to get more drape. I also end up trying lots of sizes because everything always seems to run different than the last item. Sizing drives me batty, it's never consistent. Lovely tops here!

Marley and Ceit: I will look into the larger size.

Rachylou: Maybe if we're very lucky, Angie will post an outfit wearing hers? Did you try it on? I didn't feel like it looks like muffin-top IRL, just baggy/loose.

Inge: I can't wait to see how you wear it as well.

Angie: Yes, it's definitely too narrow across the back and it's tight when buttoned. Speaking for myself and Rachylou, we'd love to see that outfit.

LBD: I thought it wasn't a 10 given the price, which is still giving me pause. But it's so much more interesting than the other "solid colored knit tops" that have always formed the backbone of my wardrobe. Since I have a working wardrobe, I'd rather buy something special and unique, instead of something basic. But the real test is going to be trying it on again!

Rae: I do like #5 a lot better than the striped top, which is definitely out of my comfort zone. Then again, there were a lot of things that used to be out of my comfort zone that I've since come around to.

Beth Ann: Oh no, that's SO annoying! I've tried on a bunch of stuff that's been fine in the torso but narrow in the arms. Maybe it's because a relaxed fit is in and we just need to be sizing up in everything, so we get a loose body fit and normal arm fit.
