I have had the bounty of birthday money and so I've been a little bad, but within my imposed limits. The white Kenneth Cole watch is going to stay after test driving it a few days. That is compliments of my BF's mom. My mom sent me a little cash and I picked up the blue polka dotted sundress I posted yesterday along with a leopard print chiffon ruffled top I love!! I found the top in a size larger last week and resisted. The thought that I had a knit black and white leopard print top also came to mind. But once I found my size I realized it wasn't a duplicate of the other top at all and it really should come home with me.
I also grabbed a light dusty pink cascade cardi I'm on the fence about. Oh, and a black and white striped light weight rayon scarf - I'm really trying to break into the scarf thing but few and far between really catch my eye or feel wearable to me. I was thinking of pairing it with a striped crop hoodie for a fun casual look that isn't unbearably hot. (too much stripe??) Otherwise it could go over many solid color knit tops I have.
Anyway, this puts me at $43 left in June's budget so I almost feel for once I'm not hopelessly ahead of my spending budget lol. Judging by what I picked up, I was feeling the need for less basic pieces and a little more flair.
Anyone else struggling with your own SYC or SYB? How about the success stories who haven't wavered??
