Congrats on surviving black friday shopping. Although I was at the stores, for most stores, I did not think the deals were worth the wait. The Vera Bradley store by me, was 30min before you even got INTO the store! Other stores such as Macy's or Lord and Taylor, I'm sorry but I did not see any great deals. Only a few stores caught my eye and took my time: Banana Republic, Eddie Bauer and Yankee Candle (deals were 40% off til noon on the first two and Yankee Candle was buy one get one free ANY candle). In general, 25% off or less isn't going to grab my eye which a lot of stores had as their "deals." I also find unless you are making a large purchase (for me that was a $200 puffer coat at Eddie Bauer) or a high volume purchase (I went overboard in BR) the savings are not worth the 30min or longer lines. In other words, SYC-ers, I don't think you missed much and I envy your relaxation day at home and not in the stores.
