Janet, you look so beautiful in this dress and I love the nude pointy-toed shoe(!) you have on in the photo! I think you deserve this dress more than ever and may I say that you look so vibrant and fit that any upcoming surgery will be handled well by you.

Just to clarify, the surgery has nothing to do with my heart. (Thank goodness) It's a hysterectomy because I have a big bunch of uterine fibroids. My GP took an EKG as part of my pre-op clearance (my blood pressure was up a bit), and that showed an abnormality.

Since then, I've discovered my sister has had the same thing turn up in an EKG a few years ago, with no follow-up. Everything *should* be OK. The abnormality is a very common one that does not necessarily indicate deeper problems, but I guess they need to play it safe before putting me on an operating table!
