SYC: Cheater

Oh boy. Well, since I got permission from Angie and others to splurge in spite of SYC in January when the Carissa Rose shirts went on sale - and then my size was sold out, so I didn't end up doing it - I am breaking SYC right now. Carissa is offering 25% off on dresses through Sunday as a Valentine's Day special, and I have been craving the Lola Pencil Dress for ages.

It's still quite expensive, but again, I'm not sure I will ever be able to find her dress at this low of a price. I have been thrilled with every CR product I own and am happy to support Carissa in her business endeavors.

So... after clicking "Checkout", I'm going back to being strict again. *grin*

I think you made a wise choice, and I agree it's a good feeling to support a female entrepreneur whose clothing is made in the USA. For a while I had a buy US only policy but I've broken it, it's really hard to buy some items like tailored jackets that are made in the US and not in the $500+ range.

Sounds like a smart decision to me. It is so hard to find a fitted shirt if you are bigger than B/C.
