@ Joy - the corduroys are holding up very well. They are 98% cotton and 2% some other product (lyocell, I think) but there is no stretch to them. They are soft, not stiff. I usually get 3-4 wears between laundering in a regular wash and dryer.
@Nancy W - at the beginning of the week (Sunday night) I select a capsule of mix and match garments that I intend to wear for the week, and hang them at one end of my clothes rod. Each morning I create an outfit based on activities and weather, trying not to repeat the exact same outfit as the day before. At the end of the day, the garments go back into the capsule, unless they are soiled - then they go into the wash. I can always pull an extra top or bottom if I need to, to finish the week. I have a high tolerance for repeating, and love all my clothes almost equally!
As a further challenge, once a top comes back from the laundry, I put it at the bottom of the pile of clean tops. I’m trying to rotate through my many different tops. I think I counted 35 tops including sweaters, t-shirts, and button downs. I have 8 pairs of pants (1 skirt and 2 shorts) so I’m not worried about rotating through pants - I have to!
I have a limited palette of colours, so ‘mix and match’ is pretty easy (see palette below) and even prints adhere pretty closely to this palette.
