Swing Tank help

I’m moving in a new direction for summer. One thing I’m considering wearing is swing tanks in jersey fabric with slim leg jeans.

I’m just not sure which size to choose… feeling a bit torn.

Photo 1: size 12. Less volume but a little less vertical drape and swing

Photo 2: size 14. More volume but more vertical drape and swing.

My jeans are all in the wash :} So hopefully these photos do the tank justice.

I’ve ordered the swing tank in 5 colors so I can a bit of a summer uniform. More on my summer plans soon in another post. xo

They both look good on you.
I often size up based on the length of a garment. Do you see much difference between the 2 in length? I like the drape of the 14, especially in such a yummy fabric/ color.

I can't see much difference, to be honest. They book look great and seem to fit well. I love a good swing tank -too :).

I like size 12 more but… might it shrink in a wash? What is a fabric composition? I sometimes buy t-shirts one size up if I know I will dry it in a drier and they are 100% cotton, so they will shrink at least half a size.

Indigoprint, there isn’t any realy difference in length that I can tell when I tried them on. I do think there is more vertical drape from the vertical folds in size 14.

LJP, thank you this is my first time trying a swing tanks love how soft, breezy, and easy these are.

Irina, these are rayon spandex 95/5%. I haven’t yet had rayon spandex jersey items shrink on me. That said, I always air dry rayon of any kind. I won’t really know until I wash them. I like the less volume in the width of 12. There’s a quite a bit kf excess fabric under the arms of size 14, not enough to be bulky but it was surprising. Though the weight of the fabric hanging takes care of some that.

I will try to try on with jeans again and post photos here— for a better idea of fit.
