Does anyone know this brand? I want to get some swimwear that I can wear if I have to go on school camp or if I can't be bothered doing the bikini line.

I don’t know the brand but I applaud the concept of swim shorts. I never wear bikini bottoms any more, only my swim trunks! WHyyyyy are women expected to expose their most intimate parts, and then feel guilty for not shaving them? I find it too silly.

Sally, I too have gone over to swim shorts -- this year I went even further and got swim leggings that cover the leg down to below the knee.

I don't actually swim but feel it's important to be prepared.

I also wear swim shorts and love them. So much more comfortable and I like to have my thighs covered. I actually purchased volleyball shorts from Amazon but the ones you posted look very similar.

I have swim shorts and swim skirts that I found from Land’s End and on Amazon. I like he flounce of a fuller skirt when beach side, but for swimming, I am not that fond of the floaty fabric and prefer a slimmer skirt. Both are available. I hope you find what you are looking for.

Agreeing with Jessakims (cute suit! cute photo!) that the association of extreme physical exposure with fun at the beach can get in the way of a good time.

I haven't bought a suit in so long I had no idea that shorts options had become more mainstream.

I swim regularly and wear conventional one piece Speedo’s at the pool, and a bikini at the beach. However, when I did triathlons I wore onesies with shorts style legs and they were just as easy to swim in as any other suit. I’ve seen more ‘biking’ style shorts or ‘bun huggers’ in swim wear and applaud their addition to swimwear style. The long sleeve rash guard/sun protection swim top is another great addition to beach wear.

I've worn swim skorts with bikini tops, but something like this would be good for paddling and such!

Coolibar is where I have gotten some of my long shorts or long-sleeved swimsuits.

I nearly always wear swim shorts or a swimming costume with short legs ,saves any worry about bikini line issues.

@April- I have thought of really long ones too. I think midthigh would mean I could exercise happily in them. long sleeve tops would be good for sun protection
@cat2 Yes I noticed a lot of younger people are wearing them now and they would be great for paddle boarding. I will also look at prana.

@Phoebe yes extreme physical exposure is losing its appeal these days.
@Runcarla Yes I do have a tankini and a one piece which I may wear on other occasions but I like the idea of the longer leg.
@suntiger Yes I think this is a good option for sports in the water
@cardiff - right who wants to worry about their bikini line...especially if I have to go on a camp with teenagers.

Actually I was looking for something I could do yoga in as well in swim. Does this exist?

I think these look great Sally. I think these could be worn for yoga in the middle of summer.

I still wear a one piece mostly but for kayaking, water sports I wear running shorts with a rash shirt.

I do find loose fabric annoying in the water and prefer fitted lycra.

You could check onzie and swim outlet for things to wear for yoga & swimming. Or try a triathlete’s suit like Carla mentioned

I agree 1 million percent with Jessikams. I have long resented that men can choose from bikinis to long shorts but all women are always expected to wear bikini bottoms. WHY? I wear what looks like bike shorts but would appreciate men's style bathing suit bottoms cut for women. The swimsuit you picked looks good to me, hope it works out!

@Sal A rash shirt is a good idea. I do have running shorts so that could be a second option.
@Fashintern thank you. I will look at those options you suggested.
@Shevia - when you say mens style do you mean board shorts? Women do sometimes wear those here like surfing clothes like these.

Yay for board shorts! American surf brands like Roxy and O’Neill do tend to make options for women. They are often quite short, so maybe not enough thigh coverage for some preferences. Madewell has recently started offering a style that looks more like men’s trunks.
