Swedish Hasbeens anyone?

I've seen more and more people wearing Swedish Hasbeen shoes. Expensive, do you think they are worth it (comfort/style), are they good value for money? Or a general no no?

I've been looking at this pair but I'm still hesitating...

I've been seeing them a lot on Pinterest and I like the style, but I haven't tried them, so no idea about comfort. I do feel like they are overprized.

I was really jonesing for a pair of their "combat clogs" awhile ago, but the price is a bit prohibitive. Anyways, I've waited so long, I'm sort of over it. I do think they're somewhat over-exposed and also, it's been so long, I've kinda phased out of grungier hipster things.

In fact, I'm thinking of kicking my Dansko's to the curb. I don't know why everyone says they're comfy. They totally hurt my feet after 4 hours.

I like this pair as well, but they have a lower heel version of this style. I do think they are overpriced due to their celebrity status. Really, it is shaped wood and a few woven straps of leather.

I ended up getting Bosabos instead (from France) but also overpriced in retrospect. The Bosabo 245s have a lower heel and darker brown leather (which I may dye darker still to bookend my hair). They are fairly comfortable though.

Overpriced, you're all very right, I think I'll wait until the sales to see if there are any good deals, or perhaps by that time I'll be on to cheaper better things!

Think for the price tag you could get something with more of a beauty factor than these. Hang fire.

I like the style, but they are pricey and not that comfortable. The wood makes them a bit hard and they are definitely not all-day-shoes IMO. And they were all over in Scandinavia a few years ago.

Lots of my friends wear them here. I find the sole hard, but in that Dr. Scholl's way. Do not have a pair.

I got a pair a few years ago, with silver metallic straps (on sale). Although they are not the most comfortable shoes in the world, I can wear them out for a night of dancing

If you're looking for a pair of clog-type sandals at a better price point, check out the clogoutlet.com. I have purchased from them several times...huge selection. The factory seconds have had such minor blemishes I've never been able to find them!

I bought a pair of red ballet "flats" (they had a small heel) and immediately sent them back! They were NOT comfortable!

The leather was hard, the sole was hard, and there was no support in the shoe. I took a few agonizing steps in them, put them back in the box and promptly returned them!

I am a clog addict and I second Missey's clogoutlet.com recommendation. I've bought two pairs of factory seconds there. The first pair had a tiny scratch on the toe, the kind that I would give a pair of shoes almost instantly. The second pair looked perfect but the heel fell off after a month. They sent me a new pair (free and no hassle) which have been great.
