sweater stones?

Does anyone have a sweater stone, pumice stone, or some other non-electric non-razor tool that they recommend for removing pills on sweaters and tee shirts? Some of my sweaters are in need of some love...

I had an electric pill-remover and it worked only so-so....I had better results doing it by hand!

I have both a stone and a battery powered sweater shaver. I would have to say that I think the razor works better, but I have ruined nice things because it caught one little thread and made a major snag. That won't happen with the stone. I usually try the stone first, and if that doesn't help, I move onto the razor. Good luck, it can be so tedious!

I have the sweater stone and really like the way it works. It has lasted me for years. The only issue is the awful smell it emits briefly, but it does go away quickly. I've not tried it on tshirts, but love it for my cashmere and other sweaters.
